"𝕀𝕗 𝕪𝕠𝕦𝕣 𝕗𝕠𝕠𝕕 𝕕𝕠𝕖𝕤𝕟'𝕥 𝕥𝕖𝕝𝕝 𝕒 𝕤𝕥𝕠𝕣𝕪, 𝕚𝕥 𝕨𝕒𝕤𝕟'𝕥 𝕡𝕣𝕖𝕡𝕒𝕣𝕖𝕕 𝕣𝕚𝕘𝕙𝕥"
If you were a kid in the early 80's or prior, chances are you may remember a restaurant called "Po' Folks". Doesn't ring a bell? Well imagine this...
Take Cracker Barrel &
➖ Breakfast
➖ Politics
➖ The chain style way of cooking
➖ The Waiter forgetting something
Then
➕ The feeling of your grandparents in the kitchen cooking
➕ Taking the time to provide you with those anecdotes that will inspire you at some point in life
➕ The feeling of Sunday Dinner around the table with FAMILY.
And yep folks, that's Po' Folks!
As a kid we would visit the Columbus location that fronted 161 @ Columbus Square & each visit seemed less like eating at a chain establishment and more akin to being at home on Sunday.
⏩ ⏩ 30 years & sadly the chain has whittled from over 100 locations to just a handful. But 2 things haven't changed (which are the most important by the way) the hospitality & the FOOD!

Whenever we're in PCB, it's mandatory to take the 20 minute ride to Calloway & visit Po'Folks (or PoFolks as its now known) for dinner & to visit with friends.
